Summary: | In 2020, there are 2.556 sexual abuse on children cases recorded in Indonesia by Online
Information System of Women and Children Protection (Simfoni PPA). Those sexual abuse on
children is similar with iceberg phenomenon; the reported cases are just fractions of the actual
numbers of cases, where more cases had not been reported. Education about danger signals,
predators, and certain situations is one of the prevention of sexual abuse on children. The
education method has to be suitable and convenient for the education’s target who are children in
8-11 of age. In this range of age, children still play a lot, start to be more social with their
surroundings, and start to be capable of logical thinking. Besides the children, the education aims
for the parents to be more aware. Therefore, this research is conducted as a step to prevent sexual
abuse on children with product design as a proposal. Board game as a media is intended to educate
children and parents about danger signals that could build stronger bond between them in a
pleasant way.
