Summary: | Bali is a tourist destination visited by millions of tourists each year. Most of them visit Bali because
they are interested to learn various cultures and traditions of Balinese people. This act of visiting a
tourist destinations to learn and experience their culture is called cultural tourism. Some notable
cultures balinese people can offer are their handicrafts, traditional dances, traditional musics, and
their lifestyle. In addition, tourists can also learn about their traditional architecture (ATB) which is
used as a reference in designing their settlement and houses they live in. To provide a satisfying
experience for tourits who visit Bali to learn about its cultures and traditions, a place to study balinese
cultures which can also provide a good accomodation and recreational facilities can be built. A resort
designed based on balinese traditional architecture principles mixed with modern architecture styles
and has a recreational facilites which its main focused is to provide a place to learn and experience
balinese cultures and traditions might be the best solution. This resort will be built at DTW Tanah Lot,
a tourist destination which located at Tanah Lot Beach and is one of the most visited tourist
destination in Bali. One of the main attraction on this area is a holy temple named Tanah Lot Temple
which is built above a big coral reef. Some of the facilities that will be designed at this resort include:
restaurant, gym, pool, spa, workshop area, art gallery, and amphiteatre. |
