Summary: | The planning of the drinking water network system is to maximize the utilization of available water resources. In Cimahi Tengah the water distribution system is handled by UPT Air Minum Kota Cimahi, and they supply 3.231 SR in Cigugur Tengah and Karangmeker which is only 2 out of the 6 sub districts within Cimahi Tengah District. When calculated this is less than 10% of the population in Cimahi Tengah supplied. Through this bachelor thesis, the writer designs a water distribution system to expand on the current system in order to supply all 6 sub districts within Cimahi Tengah District from 2019 to 2039. After projecting the population of Cimahi Tengah in 2039, a total of 135,55 L/s supply of water is need in order to increase the SR percentage to 40%. After water demand are known then can be designed water piping network system by adjusting the state service area and topography analysis with EPANET 2.0 Simulation. EPANET 2.0. The water would then be distributed using a combination of branch and loop system, with the flow relying solely on gravity. In total the budget for the selected system costs is the total procurement of pipes plus the total cost for installing pipes is Rp. 11,414,250,877.28. |
