PHD’s are people who have hearing and communication impairment, so their visual sense plays avital role in interactingwith others, receiving communication, and understanding the environment. This resultsin decreasing the accessibility of PHD’s. The provision of space facilities inhigher education institutions is currently not responding to audism due to the absence of regulation on space design, especiallyfor PHD’s. This research aims to identify the condition of existing classrooms that affect of students with hearingdisabilitiesof reviewed from the aspects of learning independenceand findthe significant aspects the furniture settings in the existing classrooms based on students with hearingdisabilitiesbehavior in the learning process. Besides, this research also aims to complete the deaf space discussion in the lecture space with the aim to increase the independence of students with hearing disabilities.
