| Summary: | As time passes, the process of jewelry making is increasingly varied, and each craftsman has their own distinct preference of working process, but all of them still need to have a work environment that makes them comfortable in making the jeweler. Because the workbench they use today is far from comfortable and practical, therefore, a jewelry-making workbench design is needed to improve the ergonomics and the practicality of the craft-making process, to create comfort and increase the productivity of the craftsmen. This research will go through the process of literature study, observation, consultation and interviews to obtain the right design decision that is going to be made into the final product, to be tested on the craftsmen, in order to be a product that can solve problems found in the jewelry-making workbench, and therefore can be well received by the craftsmen. |
