Description
Summary:Rancaekek Kencana village and Rancaekek Wetan Village are 2 villages out of a total of 14 villages in Rancaekek District. The two villages are the center of government and development of Rancaekek District. One of the ways to provide drinking water in Rancaekek District is Tirta Raharja Regional Drinking Water Company. The service area of Rancaekek District uses 2 water sources to meet drinking water needs, therewere 2 deep wellswith a total discharge used of 12.7 l/s and Cikoneng Water Treatment Plant with 50.0 l/s of recorded discharge on the main water meter. The percentage of existing services in the study area is only 48.56%. Therefore, according to Master Plan Tirta Raharja Regional Drinking Water Company, the Rancaekek service area will be added to the distribution network with a service target of around 2% per year to improve its services. The planning that is carried out will be divided into 2 periods with a mediumterm period of 5 years and a long-term of 10 years thereafter with a plan to add water sources from the Kertasari Drinking Water Supply System. In this design, EPANET 2.0 software is used to determine the hydraulic aspects of each alternative that will be proposed and then the path selection will be choosen using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method.
