Summary:Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) is material that can be use to reinforce structure. This material attributes is light, strong, anti-magnetic, and corrosion proof. Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) is devided into several composition according to its material like Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP). Some advantages that Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) have are high tension that 7 to 10 times stronger than steel. Its density is 4 to 6 times smaller than steels density so that its promising as material used in building reinforcement. In this analysis, evaluation will be hold so that we know what reinforcement category needed if problem occured on the structures. From evaluation result, several elements such as bending moment and shear of beam, axial-bending moment and shear of column are not qualified so that CFRP needs will be accumulated as reinforcement on that elements. Reinforcement needs using CFRP will be accumulated based on rule ACI 440.2R-17. Problem on structures can also be found like stiffness that leads to drift over its limit permision. CFRP reinforcement is not effective for handling stiffness problem. Alternative methods is needed to solved this problem, for example using concrete jacketing methods. However, this analysis will only talk about reinforcement using CFRP so that structures problem like reinforcement and steel neededs that not qualified can be solved.
