Description
Summary:The number of investors in Indonesia could still be said to be small when compared to the number of investors in other countries. This is due to the lack of knowledge of the Indonesians about financial asset investment and because the Indonesian people consider the use of financial asset investment applications to be complicated. This related problem will be solved by creating an application interaction design that helps to motivate Indonesians to invest. The interaction design of this financial asset investment application uses a user-centric design (UCD) approach which is expected to help motivate the Indonesian people to invest in financial assets. Questionnaires were distributed to determine user needs for financial asset investing applications. Through the questionnaire, it was formulated that the purpose of usability for financial asset investment applications is to be effective and easy to learn, while for the purpose of user experience it is helpful and motivating. The application interaction design that is made using a user-centered design approach is tested in two iterations, for the low-fidelity prototype and the high-fidelity prototype. Based on the last test, the interaction design of the financial asset investment application has been able to meet the objective of being effective to use with a completion rate of 100% and easy to learn with an average SEQ value of 6.593 out of 7.00. The designed interaction design has also been able to achieve the goal of user experience as measured by IMI Value/Usefulness with a value of 6.635 out of 7.00 while for motivation it is measured by IMI Interest/Enjoyment with a value of 6.375 out of 7.00, meaning that users who are respondents agree that the interaction design can be helpful) and provide motivation (motivating).
