This leads to a trustworthiness problem since the majority of Indonesian fishery product importers need to know the traceability chain of the product. Therefore, the traceability system presented in this paper is a decentralized system that enabled users to capture, process, market, combine, split, transfer fishery products, observe the traceability chain and get the aggregated data of fishery products. In addition, the system also enabled users to log in and register. Traceability systems developed with centralized systems may have higher throughput and lower efforts to build compared to decentralized ones, but they cannot handle untrustworthy organizations that try to mutate the traceability chain since no consensus is strictly needed. True traceability can be achieved with blockchain technology that ensures the immutability of its data and its decentralized nature that enables consensus between organizations joined inside the system. Hyperledger Fabric, blockchain technology for enterprises, is used to develop this system. it is popular for its remarkable identity management and the better performance it can achieve compared to Bitcoin’s or Ethereum’s. The system has undergone performance tests and achieved high throughput and response time except for the aggregation feature, implying that the system is highly scalable except for aggregation. In addition, the system reduced the probability to have a single point of failure problem since each organization has multi peers deployed text
