EFFECT OF LARGE SOCIAL SCALE RESTRICTION TO THE SPATIAL PATTERN OF DISTRIBUTION SPREAD OF COVID-19 IN BANDUNG CITY

COVID-19 pandemic has greatly affected the normal activities of the community. With the existence of COVID-19, there is a need for restriction on making contact due to the characteristics of COVID-19 which can spread through short distance. So interventions are needed to suppressed the growth int the number of cases and mitigation that can have an impact on community health. However the intervention that is carried out cannot be carried out strictly and with a long period of time due to various challenges and considerations, for example the challenge that must be faced is the consequence of the activities and routines. Activities and routines have change, people who used to work, go to school and travel to shop must refrain to do that. And should do shopping remotely and order online and delivered. One form of this intervention is to promote Large-Scale Social Restrictions (LSBB). Interventions that are carried out have to adjust and change depending on how the impact is caused. This study aims to see how the effectiveness of Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) on the transmission patter of the COVID-19 virus. By using the CDC COVID-19 Surge Model, an analysis of how the LSBB affects the spatial pattern of the spread of COVID-19 and the health system in Bandung City will be analyzed. The results of the analysis show that the LSBB carried out by the Bandung City Goverments has been able to reduce the effectiveness of the increase in cases.
