Summary:Indonesian palm plantations has 8.762.136 hectares with production capability crude palm oil is (CPO) 37,17 million tons which produces vegetable oil. The abundance of post-harvest waste of CPO is palm fronds that utilization is still limited to pulp, fertilizer, and cattle feed. This study sought utilization of palm fronds into the manufacture of musical instruments kordofon by the results of experiments studying the palm fronds of determine their nature. The development of experimental acoustic musical instruments with operational novelty values adjusts to the characteristics of this material.
