Summary: | The Aksan Apartment Building is a vertical residence with the concept of multigenerational living which can be interpreted as the residence of several generations of families in one residence. The Aksan Apartment Project is located at Jalan Aksan No. 5, Bandung City with a land area of 1.9 hectares. Aksan Apartment has six floors consisting of a basement floor, ground floor, second floor to fifth floor. The piping design at Aksan Apartments was carried out to meet the technical requirements of the building based on Law No. 28 of 2002 and Regulation of the Minister of Public Works No. 29 of 2006. The design includes a clean water piping system, a wastewater piping system, and a fire hydrant piping system. The design of the piping system in a building consists of determining pipe lines, determining pipe diameters, and budgeting costs. Determination of pipelines is closely related to the use of shafts in a building. The number of existing shafts on the unit floor at Aksan Apartment is 44 shafts. The proposed alternative is to determine the most effective use of shafts in a segment, segments are units that are adjacent and parallel to the floor of the unit. Aspects that are reviewed in determining the use of shafts consist of economic aspects, construction aspects, and efficiency aspects. The economic aspect is closely related to the length of the pipe required, the construction aspect is closely related to the number of accessories required, and the efficiency aspect is seen from the head loss in the pipe. The weighting method used is the simple additive weighting method. The results of the weighting of the design alternatives show that the number of effective shafts used is 23 shafts. The building has a capacity of 1077 people. The total need for clean water in the apartment building is 167.6 m3/day. The system used in providing clean water is the roof tank system, where PDAM water is collected in the lower tank and then pumped to the roof tank and then distributed by gravity. The water source of this system is obtained from PDAM. The pipes used in the clean water piping system are PPR pipes. The diameter of the clean water transfer pipe is 80 mm. The diameter of clean water pipes ranges from 15 – 50 mm. The sewerage piping system uses a separate system in which the distribution of dirty water and used water is carried out separately. The waste water generated is 134 m3/day. The pipe used for the distribution of waste water is PVC class AW pipe. The diameter of the dirty water pipe ranges from 50-100 mm. The diameter of used water pipes ranges from 32 - 100 mm. The vent system uses a vent loop system where in this system the vent pipe serves several plumbing tools at once. The pipe used for the vent system is class D PVC pipe. The diameter of the vent pipe is between 32 – 100 mm. The fire hydrant piping system at the Aksan Apartment uses a gravity system. There are 61 units of fire hydrants needed at Aksan Apartments. The discharge of fire hydrant needs is 68 liters/minute. The cost required for the piping system at Aksan Apartments is Rp. 8,335,517,098.00. |
