الملخص:Indonesia's tourism sector is the second-largest contributor to the national GDP and is considered the leading sector in Indonesia. The growth of the tourism sector can certainly be further enhanced by optimizing Indonesia's tourism resources through developing Muslim-friendly tourism. For instance, Bandung Regency became the prior destination for Indonesian halal tourism in 2019 by nominating Sinumbra in Indragiri Village as the first Halal Tourism Village (pilot project) in Bandung Regency. The purpose of this research is to identify the strategy for developing Halal Tourism in Sinumbra, Indragiri Village. The strategic components used to show the developing conditions are based on the 2019-2024 Halal Tourism Strategic Plan, which are Amenities, Attractions, Accessibility, Marketing, Promotion, and Media, Human Resources, Community Communities, and Industry. This research used descriptive statistical analysis for quantitative data, while content and SWOT analysis for qualitative data. The primary data used data from Focus Group Discussion, interviews, questionnaires, and observations. The secondary data used planning documents, regulations, and popular media. As a result, the Concentric Strategy became the main strategy for Sinumbra, Indragiri Village to attract tourists. The strategy attractions and products that prioritize local wisdom which can increase tourists visits by overcoming threats, such as revitalizing the entrance of Halal Tourism and optimizing the ability of human resources in interacting with institutions. With the stipulation of Halal Tourism in Sinumbra, Indragiri Village as a pilot project for Halal Tourism Village in Bandung Regency, the Halal Tourism development strategy in Sinumbra, Indragiri Village can be used as a reference/guideline in developing Halal Tourism in Bandung Regency.
