In this project, a pump will be designed is located in the Bojong reservoir, Rawa Buaya Village, West Jakarta. Design of the pump house includes hydrological analysis, drainage analysis, retention pond design, and pump. Hydrological analysis includes average rainfall calculation, frequency analysis, and compatibility test. Drainage analysis includes calculation of concentration time, discharge plan, and checking the channel cross-section. The design of the reservoir includes the calculation of the flood hydrograph and the calculation of the cumulative volume between inflow and outflow. Pump design includes pump head calculations, determining the type of pump impeller, and calculating pump power. The drainage design has a square section with dimensions ranging from 600 × 800 mm to 2000 × 2000 mm. The discharge that enters the retention pond is 17243.34 m³ with a water level of 107.8 cm from in the reservoir area of 16,000 m2. The pump used is 3 units of pump with a capacity of 0.5 m³/second. These three pumps use axial impellers and require a total power of 47.313 kW to operate. text |
