This goal ensures access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all. Geothermal energy is one of the energies that can achieve this goal. Supported by the geographical conditions of Indonesia, which is a volcanic arc country, the utilization of geothermal energy can be realized massively. The use of remote sensing technology for large-scale multi-temporal mapping also supports the use of geothermal energy in Indonesia. This study aims to estimate the value of the surface temperature and heat flux radiation and analyze the heat flux radiation originating from the geothermal system. The satellite images used are ASTER nighttime images, ASTER daytime images, Sentinel 2 MSI, and Terra MODIS. The research was conducted in Kamojang Crater, Garut Regency, West Java. Extraction of surface temperature information with satellite imagery in this study uses a simple thermal radiation transfer method in the form of a mono-window algorithm. The results of this study indicate that the location of the geothermal potential shows a relatively higher temperature anomaly compared to the surrounding environment and is accompanied by a consistently high value based on four observations of surface temperature and heat flux radiation. At the location of the geothermal potential, there is a consistent decrease in energy values in the observation period. text |
