Summary: | This study discusses an analysis of the gold veins resource modeling using the
principle indicators, they are using Indicator Kriging (IK) and Sequential Indicator
Simulation (SIS) from data assay of gold vein mineralization from Pongkor, West
Java. The data used in this study is a data exploration drilling as many as 136
points. From the validation results indicate that relatively only a few data is
available or has not been proportional to the volume of ore bodies, wide range
(average 50 m to the north), and have some data outliers. Furthermore, the data is
divided into deciles class with nine (9) cut off grades, then converted into the form
of indicator data. Variogram modeling done with the data indicators for each cut
off grades. Grade Estimation was conducted with IK using algorithm of FIK (Full
Indicator Kriging) and MIK (Median Indicator Kriging). While simulation of
grades conducted using SIS. Gold resource calculation is done using the search
volume (R) of the average range indicator variogram. The cumulative distribution
curve and the curve Grade-Tonnage for any cut off gradest displayed to validate
the results of the estimation and simulation of composite data in the block. From
these results it can be concluded that the method of IK with algoritm of FIK is the
most suitabele. |
