Description
Summary:Abstract:

The study of morphology radius and morphology density for Abell 2219 cluster of galaxy is done to examine the same relation found by Dressler. We use photometry data from SDSS (Sloan Digital Sky Survey) and also radial velocity for each of galaxy member. The morphology of the galaxy, whether one galaxy has elliptical or spiral shape, was determined by the (u min r) color that it has. Elliptical and lenticular galaxies have (u min r) color more than 2.5, while the spiral ones have (u min r) less than 2.5. From this separation we have 86 galaxies which are E,S0 type and the rest of 21 galaxies are spiral. Environment in this paper are defined by counting the number of galaxies in typical radius surround a target galaxy, counting the luminosity density surround the target galaxy and examine whether there is a relationship between morphology of target galaxy and the morphology of the neighbour galaxy. There are no tight relation between morphology of target galaxy with the number of galaxy neighbour in certain radius, the luminosity density, the location of target galaxy in the cluster, and also the morphology of the neighbour galaxy. However it is found that every luminous galaxy, no matter the morphology is, is located in higher density environment than the low luminosity one. Other results that is found are, there is an indication that this cluster has substructure in radius about 880 kpc away from its center and also there is a gap in 400 to 500 kpc where in this radius there are no galaxy found.
