Summary:Kampong Kota is form of informal settlement that grows without planning like a formal settlement. Nowaday. Kampong Kota issynonymous with densely populated settelement area that are slums and have minimal facilities and infrastructure. Kampong Kota has potential to become an area that has high land value if it is managed properly. One of design method in is renewable settlement area. Renewable settlement area as an approach was carried out with the aim of redesign settelment area through improving settlement infrastructure to support the needs of residents. This design object is Kampong Kota RW 02 Leuwigajah, Cimahi. The purpose of the design is to design the Kampung Kota RW 02, Leuwigajah with renewable area approach. The design of the Kampung Kota RW 02, Leuwigajah focuses on redesigning the settlement environment by improving the quality of settlement infrastructure with the main focus on designing streets lingkage, structuring buildings form, and structuring open spaces with the vision of designing New Kampung Kota RW 02: Living Life Vibrantly Natural factors and artificial factors are considered in the design of the Kampung Kota RW 02, Leuwigajah so that it can provide comfort for the residents in it. This design also considers population growth in the future, thereby increasing the need for educational facilities, health facilities, open spaces, and vertical housing so that it will affect the intensity of the mass of buildings around the area.
