Summary:The problem encountered by the shipping company is the limited monitoring of logistics vehicles in the form of motorcycles. Technological developments can be one solution to overcome this problem. Products designed to solve these problems in the form of Internet of Things applications will easily monitor vehicles. To be able to realize this system, six subsystems were designed, namely data acquisition, data pre-processing, power, communication, interface, and cloud computing subsystems. In this article, two subsystems are discussed, namely data acquisition and data pre-processing. The data acquisition subsystem is designed to collect motorcycle related information such as location, speed, acceleration, gyro, driver information, fuel level, battery voltage level, and ignition status. While the data preprocessing subsystem is designed for initial data processing such as obtaining average speed, maximum speed, average acceleration, maximum acceleration, signal control, and data recording
