The problem of existing waste management system in Pangandaran Beach tourism area is mixed-waste collection system still applied and the existing waste treatment facility, TPS 3R Cikembulan, has limited capacity of 3,81 t/day while in 2033, average waste generated is projected to increase up to 27,13 t/day. In this design, source-separated waste system is applied, segregated into three categories: organic waste, anorganic waste, and toxic and hazardous waste. Two types of collecting vehicles are used where one vehicle has one compartment for organic waste and the other has two separated compartments for anorganic and toxic and hazardous waste. Waste will be treated in both existing and designed waste treatment facility. Waste treatment in designed TPS 3R includes windrow composting using windrow turner, recyclable materials manual sorting and processing, plastic packaging processing using pyrolisis reactor, and toxic and hazardous waste and residual waste storing. This optimized system has the total capacity of 31.92 t/day and reducing waste transported to TPA up to 21.95%. Minimum area required for the designed TPS 3R is 3,049 m2. According to economic feasibiity analysis using NPV method, designed TPS 3R is economically feasible with positive NPV Rp3.168.793.648. Waste treatment cost without calculating income is Rp322.100 per ton. text
