Flare and coronal mass ejection was solar phenomena that give an impact on earth. Particles that were ejected from the sun, including protons, electrons and heavy nuclei, accompanied by magnetic field will disturb earth magnetosphere, ionosphere, and earth orbiting satellite. So, detection and understanding of solar energetic particles is important. A lot off instrument is used for studying it; one of the instruments is Charge, Element, and Isotope Analysis System (CELIAS) onboard SOHO. This instrument warns of incoming solar storm.
The data used in this final assignment was taken from Mass Time Of Flight (MTOF) / Proton Monitor sensor of the CELIAS instrument within period 1996 to 2003 with one hour resolution. This data was analyzed so that temporal distribution of proton speed and density is acquired. A conclusion was taken from the events that being analyzed that there was there type of speed distribution related to CME. Those result further analyzed so that particles acceleration and thermal acceleration is gained. High acceleration means that there was sudden change in speed and these phenomena related to sun high energy activities.
