Description
Summary:Data governance is control over the management of data assets. Data governance is one of the essential things in an organization. The problem of data governance is an important issue but is often not realized by every organization, including in universities. Currently, the practice of data governance at the Bandung Institute of Technology is still very minimal and a data governance policy is needed. In this final project, the author develops a data governance policy using the DAMADMBOK framework. The process of developing a data governance policy will be divided into 3 main stages, namely making a collaborative data governance plan, developing a data governance implementation roadmap, and running a data governance program. The final result of developing a data governance policy is a data governance policy document. The data governance policy document consists of a data governance vision, roles & responsibilities of data governance stakeholders, and data governance policies. The data governance policy document was also validated by the Bandung Institute of Technology academic community as the implementer of data governance. From the validation results, it can be seen that the data governance policy document is able to solve data governance problems at the Bandung Institute of Technology with a score of 4.03 out of a scale of 5
