Summary: | Indonesia is still experiencing inequality between supply and demand for the national beef. One of the factors that affect the productivity of ruminant livestock is the lack of availability of and fluctuations in the quantity and quality of feed that occur throughout the year. The corn plant has been known as the forage has a high content of nutrients that are good for ruminant animals. One of the efforts that can be done to increase the production of forage from corn is by using a liquid organic fertilizer (POC) from cow dung as a source of organic nutrients additional to the growth of corn plants as well as attempts to avoid the use of chemical fertilizers. Then from it carried out research to determine the effectiveness of the administration of a dose of liquid organic fertilizer (POC) 2%, 5%, and 8%, as well as to determine the effectiveness of the use of liquid organic fertilizer and fertilizer AB mix to the biomass of the plant with the results of the proximate test as supporting data. From the results of this study, it was found that the treatment of liquid organic fertilizer with a dose of 2% effective in the improvement of biomass, with biomass obtained by 1:3,4 (339,5 gr).
