Ground vibration at a certain level can disturb the stability of the slopes. In order to overcome this problem, PT XYZ implements signature hole analysis to obtain the vibration characteristics of a blasting design. By utilizing the linear superposition of waves, the vibration level which is expressed in terms of peak particle velocity (PPV) can be determined. This study aims to provide a blast design recommendation that has a minimum PPV in three scenarios resulting from the simulation of the interaction among blast hole vibrations. The simulation was carried out using Microsoft Excel 365 and Visual Basic for Application (VBA) prgramming language. From the results of the signature hole analysis, the PPV of a blasting design is affected by the vibration characteristics and the delay time among the blast holes. In scenario 1, the blasting design with a blast hole pattern of 4 rows x 25 holes is a design that produces a minimum PPV with a value of 23 mm/s. In scenario 2, the blasting design that uses a non-electric connector with a 42 ms for inter-hole delay and 109 ms for inter-row delay is a design that produces a minimum PPV with a value of 21 mm/s. In scenario 3, the blasting design using an electronic detonator with a 30 – 40 ms inter-hole delay is a design that produces a minimum PPV with a value of ± 15 mm/s. text |

Ground vibration at a certain level can disturb the stability of the slopes. In order to
