Description
Summary:Sanitation in Indonesia still considered to be inadequate because there is still open defecation practice (BABS), improper latrines, and low wastewater treatment. This can have long-term impacts such as reducing human well-being, social and economic development. So, the government introducing the concept of Sanitasi Total Berbasis Masyarakat (STBM) which is one of the efforts in overcoming problems related to sanitation that has been implemented throughout Indonesia, including in the city of Bandung. STBM Practice in Bandung City currently requires more attention because the achievement of Bandung City's Open Defecation Free (ODF) is low and the rate of improvement is slow. In addition, Bandung City is also ranked the 4th lowest in latrine access in West Java Province, even though Bandung City has an identity as the capital and second most populous city in West Java Province. Currently, there is no detailed study regarding the evaluation of the implementation of the STBM program in Bandung City, so this study aims to evaluate the implementation of the STBM program in Bandung City with case studies Public Health Center of Tamansari, Arcamanik, and Antapani. In this study, study criteria will also be made from the implementation of CLTS (Community-Led Total Sanitation) and STBM in Indonesia. With the data obtained through interviews and questionnaires of experts as well as the results of the analysis obtained from AHP analysis and qualitative descriptive, it is known that the evaluation value of STBM implementation in Bandung City is 77.12 from a maximum value of 100. This value shows that although there are still shortcomings in its implementation, it can be concluded that the implementation of STBM in the city of Bandung so far has been quite good but not perfect because there are still problems in the most important criteria of the study results. The recommendation from this research is that the government is expected to start formulating a Mayor's Regulation related to STBM, deepening the values of triggering STBM to the community as well as developing the capacity of actors and increasing public interest in the sanitation market.
