With the diversion from an airbase into an commercial airport, the enhancement for various airport elements are needed at both landside and airside of the airport. This thesis is made as an explanation of the steps done in designing the airside facilites of Jenderal Besar Soedirman Airport. Airside facilities design that has been done consists of geometric design, pavement design, airport equipments, and calculation of the cost needed to build the airside facilities. Jenderal Besar Soedirman Airport has spoke hierarchy so that the operation distance occured to/from this airport would be short distance operations. Hence, operations in this airport will only be served with smaller aircraft in ATR 72-600. This airport also will be designed as an single aircraft airport with the only aircraft to serve operations is ATR 72-600 so that the increasing of passengers will result in the addition of aircraft operations, not the conversion of available aircraft to bigger aircraft. Airport geometric elements that consist of runway, taxiway, and apron are designed based on ATR 72-600 aircraft as critical aircraft module with visual meteorological condition. Designed airport pavement consists of flexible pavement for runway and rigid pavement for taxiway and apron with thickness that has been determined to withstand all ATR 72-600 module operations within design life. Designed airport equipments consist of lighting, marking, and signage scattered across the airfield. Therefore, the cost needed to build the designed airside facilities are Rp. 110.599.806.714,84. text |
