Summary: | Biological Natural Resources & its Ecosystems (SDAH&E) must be sustainably managed, one of which is by being used as Objects and Natural Tourism Attractions (ODTWA) according to the valid regulations. SDAH&E are mostly in the forest area, especially in conservation area. This study is aimed to determine the criteria that should be improved in the development of nature tourism in the Kawasan Rest Area Sopotinjak in Batang Gadis National Park. The method used is the modified Analysis of Operational Areas-Objects and Natural Tourism Attractions (ADO-ODTWA) of the Directorate General of Forest Protection and Nature Conservation in 2003. The Rest Area area is assessed against 12 ADO-ODTWA criteria, then a scoring criteria is carried out. Then the classification of criteria into 3 groups is carried out, namely low, medium, and high classifications, in order to obtain criteria that need to be improved in the next object management. The result of the research is that the criteria with high classification are condition around the areas, management and services, supporting facilities and infrastructure, clean water availability, and marketing. The criteria with moderate classification are attractiveness, relationship with other tourism objects, security, and market share. The criteria with low classification are accessibility, accommodation, and visitor regulation. The conclusion of this study is that the criteria that need to be improved are accommodation, visitor regulation, attractiveness, security, and market share. |
