Summary: | The amount of waste in Indonesia is increasing day by day. The existing waste is increasingly piling up in
the landfill in an unsorted condition. This results in waste that cannot be recycled. Today, waste is a major
problem in Indonesia and must be resolved quickly because it threatens ecosystems on land and sea. The
problem of unsorted waste is related to the habit of people who do not want to sort waste and there is no
awareness from the community to keep the environment clean. Therefore Nyampih is here to solve the
waste problem, especially implementing new habits for the consumers to sort waste. Nyampih is a smart
application that can connect garbage carriers with consumers. Nyampih provides flexible garbage
collection services so that consumers (households and business sectors) can order our services at any
time. However, before ordering our services, consumers must first sort their waste. For us, implementing
the habit of sorting waste to households is quite difficult because it is a new practice. So, in this study, we
decided to examine the habits of households in sorting waste, the behavior of households towards waste,
what motivates them to sort waste, and how to develop Nyampih to suit the wants and needs of the
household. This research was conducted using qualitative methods and observation by conducting
interviews with several housewives with various work backgrounds. This study also uses the Theory of
Planned Behavior to find out what aspects influence households to be willing to sort waste properly and
correctly. Then in this study using the Theory of Change as a comparison of the current Nyampih feature
with the Nyampih feature after doing this research. |
