HEALTH ASSESSMENT OF CITARUM HULU WATERSHED ON CIKERUH SUB-WATERSHED ZONE 1 USING SOIL & WATER ASSESSMENT TOOL (SWAT) MODELING
The assessment health of the Cikeruh Sub-watershed Zone 1 (7,722.06 ha) was carried out using the SWAT hydrological model based on Minister of Forestry Regulation No. P.61/Menhut-II/2014. SWAT estimates sub-watershed performance indicators as a reference for health assessments. The Cikeruh Sub-water...

INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/57340 The assessment health of the Cikeruh Sub-watershed Zone 1 (7,722.06 ha) was carried out using the SWAT hydrological model based on Minister of Forestry Regulation No. P.61/Menhut-II/2014. SWAT estimates sub-watershed performance indicators as a reference for health assessments. The Cikeruh Sub-watershed Zone 1 has the dominant land use for settlements (3.331,26 ha), the dominant slope is a flat class (3.710,64 ha) and the dominant soil type is cambisol (4.073,96 ha). Based on the model, sub-basins have 27 subbasins and HRU 609 and the point outlet is in the subbasins 27th. The simulation model produces unsatisfactory category NSE (-175,84) and R2 (0,41). So it requires a process of calibration and validation. Value NSE and R2 calibration including a satisfactory category of 0,55. NSE and R2 validation of 0,47 and 0,50 with a satisfactory category. The biophysical characters of the Cikeruh Sub-watershed Zone 1 which are included in the good category are PLK, KRA, KAT, MS, IPA, and KL. Biophysical characters with poor categories are PPV, Erosion Index, Flood Frequency, and Family Planning. The carrying capacity of the Cikeruh Sub-watershed Zone 1 is moderate with the main problems being high erosion index, flood frequency, and low vegetation cover. The best scenario to implement is Scenario 3 in subbasins 1-9 with 7% conversion of open land to forest and 25% of rice fields to forest on a slope >15% and conversion of plantations to the forest as much as 2% on a slope of 25-40%. text |
