INTERACTION AMONG ACTORS IN MANAGING SOLO TECHNOPARK

Solo Technopark is technology trainning and education area in Surakarta that will be expanded into industrial cluster area. Solo Technopark is managed by Badan Layanan Umum Daerah supported by various actors under supervison of Bappeda Surakarta. Those actors are coming from Government i.e Bappeda Surakarta, academician from ATMI, and non-government from PT ATMI and also entrepeneur. Involvement from many actors makes study of interaction among them in managing Solo Technopark is important. This study is using study case approach to see empirical matter and conclude recommendations. Also using stakeholder analysis to see role of each related actors and content analysis for respondent interview result to see interaction among actors in managing Solo Technopark. Analysis result will be used to conclude some role recommendations and interaction among actors in developing Solo Technopark becoming Industrial cluster. In order to support development of Solo Technopark development as an industrial cluster, commitment and support from government, central and local, university or research institution, Solo Technopark management, and also industrial is highly needed. With interaction among all related actors, through coordination, cooperation, and also facilities, collective action that will support establishment of Solo Technopark industrial cluster will be created.
