PLANNING FOR CROSSING DOCK ENCHANCEMENT CAPACITY IN DOLONG WALAQOD ISLAND TOJO UNA UNA DISTRICT CENTRAL SULAWESI PROVINCE

Indonesia is the largest archipelago country in the world, this allows Indonesia to become a superpower by taking advantage of the position and diversity of each island. However, Indonesia is still not utilizing its resources properly, as in the case with the development of marine transportation infrastructure. Sea transportation has an important role in the movement of goods and humans themselves. In Sulawesi island, Dolong Port is one of the main for the marine transportation mode that is used to move from one island to another, This is related to an increase in shipping demand which annually increases by 0.9%. Along with the demand for ships at Dolong Port, it is necessary to increase the capacity of the crossing docks. This study aims to compile a dock development plan with a budget plan. In this design, the improvement of the dock used the Hydro-Oseano data processing method, Modeling using Delft3D, AutoCAD, and Global Mapper software, selection of layouts and also dimensions of the dock with complementary facilities, wich is fenders and Bollards. Based on the results in this final project, it is found that the type of dock used is Dolpin type with fenders in the form of a super cone and also the T head Bollard type, as well as the estimated construction of the dock which is worth IDR 26,093,704,072.
