One of the ways to support high quality vegetable production is the use of a drip irrigation system. Drip irrigation is a technique of applying water directly to the soil surface and in the soil through continuous dripping in the root area of plants. In addition to meeting water needs, it is necessary to fulfill nutritional needs appropriately and well to produce good plant production. Application of fertilizer through a drip irrigation system (fertigation) increases fertilization efficiency and reduces nutrient loss. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the frequency application rabbit LOC (Liquid Organic Fertilizer) on growth (plant height, number of leaves, and canopy area), biomass yield (wet weight, dry weight, and nitrogen uptake), and mass and energy balance on the production of Pagoda mustard plant biomass. (Brassica rapa var. narinosa). The research was conducted in January-March 2021 on the land of PT Habibi Digital Nusantara, Arcamanik District, Bandung City, West Java. The study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with three treatments, namely fertilization frequency F1: once in 4 days, F2: once in 6 days, and F3: once in 8 days. Observations of plant growth parameters were carried out by measuring once every 3 days on 18 plant samples and biomass parameters were carried out at post-harvest at the Laboratory of Research Institute for Vegetable Crops in Lembang. The results of the analysis of variance (ANOVA) showed that the frequency of fertilization treatment did not affect all plant growth parameters and plant biomass yields, and the mass and energy balance of the production of Pagoda mustard greens (Brassica rapa var. narinosa) obtained mass input and output of 3230.489 g/plant and 3143 ,193 g/plant then input and output energy of 16929,875 kJ/plant and 6325.738 kJ/plant. text |
