Description
Summary:Post-sand mining land is a degraded land, dominated by sand with low organic matter and water holding capacity. This land can be used for agricultural practice, but low organic matter is one of the limiting factors in the use of post-mining land. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the soil to improve soil quality, one of them is the addition of organic matter as a soil enhancer and the application of a drip irrigation system. This study aims to determine the effect and the most optimal treatment of the composition of soil amendments on the growth and production of soybean varieties Grobogan on post-sand mining soil. This study used 7 replications with 4 replications each, 1 (control), 2 (10% topsoil), 3 (10% compost), 4 (10% compost + 10% topsoil), 5 (10% compost + 20% topsoil), 6 (20% compost + 10% topsoil), and 7 (20% compost + 20% topsoil). The results showed that the composition of soil amendment only had a significant effect on plant height and plant height growth rate. The composition of the most optimal soil amendment for the growth and yield of soybean (Glycine max L.) Grobogan variety using a drip irrigation system on post-sand mining land is 20% compost soil amendment (P3).
