Description
Summary:One of the causes of the occurrence land degradation is mining activity. In West Java at least 1.5 hectares sand-mining sites was recorded in 2019. The land is classified as marginal land that can be still used for agriculture as it recovers. In agriculture, water is necessary component. The objective of this study was to determine pulsed method which result in optimal growth, yield and water use efficiency of soybean under post sand-mining land. This experiment was conducted in a completely randomized design, with 4 treatment and 5 replications. The following variable of plant growth were analyzed : plant height (TT), the rates of height growth (LPTT), number of leaves (JD), rate of increase of leaves number (LPJD), pod number(JP), seed number (JB), nodule number (JN). The following variable of yield were analyzed : plant wet matter(BST), plant dry matter(BKT), yield (BPB), seed dry matter (BKB), root-shoot ratio (RSR), harvest index(IP). Our result showed that once a day drip irrigation result optimal growth, yield and water use efficiency of soybean under post sand-mining land.
