Summary: | The determination of the Belitong Geopark to become a UNESCO Global Geopark (UGGP) has increasingly opened up opportunities to realize sustainable development, one of which is through the astrotourism development. This is supported by light pollution on Belitung Island which is relatively low and very supportive for observing astronomical phenomena. Various efforts have been made, one of which is outreach to schools, this is part of the Tourism Policy Plan to increase human capital through knowledge. The transfer of astronomical knowledge is of course also related to the use of astronomy learning resources. Thus, this study aims to analyze the correlation between the use of astronomy learning resources and astronomical knowledge of high school students as well as identify the appropriate astronomy learning resources used by high school students to transfer astronomy knowledge. The method used in this study is a correlational research method with a quantitative approach. The research sample amounted to 300 respondents who were high school students in Belitung Island from the science and social studies majors and represented each grade level; X, XI and XII. The results of the study stated that there was a positive and significant relationship between the use of astronomy learning resources and students' knowledge of astronomy with a probability value (p-value) of 0.003 and a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.174. Identification of the appropriate use of astronomy learning resources for the transfer of astronomical knowledge based on research results is the application of astronomy, the internet, social media and the amateur astronomy community.
