Description
Summary:Fertilizer is one of important aspect on bell pepper cultivation. Conventional bell pepper cultivation system use anorganic fertilizers such as NPK, AB mix, urea, etc. These anorganic fertilizers could damage the soil and environment. Therefore, to develop sustainable agricultural system, there is a need to develop a bell pepper production system that use organic fertilizer (POC). The purpose of this research is to find out how liquid organic fertilizer affect the growth and yield of bell pepper and its efficiency. This research was conducted from 9 December 2020 until 23 March 2021 at P4S Kurnia Abadi’s Screenhouse, Pasirlangu Village, Cisarua District, West Bandung Regency. This research use completely randomized design with three treatment included control treatment with AB mix and no POC; P1 treatment with 0,6% v/v POC; P2 with 1,2% v/v POC; and P3 with 1,8% v/v POC. Data analysis was conducted with one way ANOVA test with 95% confidence level and continued with Least Significant Difference (LSD) test. The result of this research shows that control treatment with AB mix shows higher growth and yield significanly compared to other treatments with 73 cm height, 41 leafs, 82,56 cm2 average leaf area, 7,55 cm average fruit diameter, 213,7 gram average fruit weight, 0,7 cm average fruit thickness, and total of 10 fruits. On the another side, efficiency analysis with PFP test shows that P2 treatment gives the highest efficiency at 0,18 kg of fruit/L nutrient.
