Summary:The revolution of clothing which originally marked as the gender status of men and women, now with the Androgynous gender refracts people's understanding of the value and function of clothing. For most Eastern cultures in the world, especially in Indonesia, someone whose clothing style does not match their gender will be considered skeptical, especially for men. The crossdresser Androgyny style in men is often identified with thick makeup and flashy makeup towards the feminine, now growing and more blending with a more natural and less flashy look. Through the power of the popularity of Instagram Celebrities or Celebgram as fashion makers and distributors which are visually displayed through photo uploads on Instagram digital social media accounts which are one of the strongest popular social media in the world today, the concept of crossdresser Androgyny style which is often misunderstood is expected to be explained and straightened out both in terms of characteristics, functions, values, and meanings through this research. The celebgram is selected by using the purposive method will be analyzed as male celebgram who are active and consistent in their daily lives with a crossdresser Androgyny style, Jovi Adhiguna, Wisnu Genu, and Andreas Lukita by showing a sexy, elegant, and attractive style from the use of clothing, make-up, accessories, and other supporting attributes. This study used qualitative research with the method of analyzing the visual content of photos. The attributes worn in the photo indicate the three celebgrams as figures who have the image of crossdresser Androgyny analyzed using Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotics in triangulation of icon, indexe, symbol which are then validated by stage of denotation, connotation, and myth meaning from Roland Barthes. This study aims to determine the visual attribute factors that support and straighten out the crossdresser Androgyny style is increasingly away from the masculine image developing in Indonesia through the representation of Indonesian male celebgrams on Instagram social media.
