Therefore, we need a test that can analyze the tendency of fuel to form deposits and its effect on engine output power. The test standard set by the Worldwide Fuel Charter (WWFC) for the injector cleanliness test is CEC F-98-08, but the test standard is very expensive. The purpose of this study is to develop a test procedure based on CEC F-98-08 which is made using information compiled from various sources and then compiled according to ASTM standards. The parameter used for injector fouling is the power loss from the test engine at the end of the test phase. The test procedure includes the machine, sensors and materials used, modification of components, test cycles run, and calibration of the test system. text |
