However, some still adopt a regulated work- from-office (WFO) method of working despite the government's suggestions. This study aims to understand and analyze the factors of motivation that affect employee job satisfaction for office workers during the new normal by analyzing the relationships between different factors of motivation, and job satisfaction, using Herzberg's Two-factor Theory. A survey is conducted to obtain quantitative data, with a total of 107 employees working-from-office in Jakarta as the respondents. For each item in the questionnaire, a five-point Likert Scale is used to reflect the respondents' views. The data is then analyzed using the Multiple Linear Regression (MLR) method to find the relationship between the variables. It is found that Relationship with supervisor, Responsibility, and Growth are significant predictors for Job Satisfaction during the pandemic. Hence, motivators, or intrinsic work-related values, are found to be more significant and important during the COVID-19 pandemic to increase job satisfaction for employees conducting WFO in Jakarta. The results of the findings will enable companies to understand the actions to be taken to adapt their way to keep employees satisfied and motivated according to what drives them. text |
