Summary: | Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) is a major outbreak that occurred in 2020. COVID-19 is an infectious disease caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2. This disease was first identified in Wuhan City, China at the end of 2019. Since then , this disease began to massively spread to various countries in the world. So on March 11, 2020, WHO (World Health Organization) officially declared the COVID-19 outbreak as a pandemic. As of July 2021, there were 3,568,331 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with a total of 102,375 deaths due to COVID-19 in Indonesia. In this final project, modification of the Susceptible-Exposed-Infected-Recovered (SEIR) compartment model is used by adding an Isolated (Q) compartment so that the model becomes SEIQR. The discussion about this model includes an explanation of the model system of differential equations, model stability analysis, parameter estimation results for the model, model simulation results, and analysis of model simulation results. |
