The high use of motorized vehicles encourages the emergence of the need to reduce environmental impacts through environmentally friendly transportation planning. One of the cities with the highest traffic jams in Indonesia, Bandung City, has a vision of urban transportation to realize reliable and environmentally friendly transportation. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the use of bicycles as nonmotorized vehicles has experienced a large increase, although so far it has not been able to reduce the use of motorized vehicles significantly and has not been supported by the provision of proper bicycle lanes. The increasing popularity of cycling should spur the development of cycling facilities, especially the cycling network of Bandung City. Cycling network planning must pay attention to five main criteria, namely safety, comfort, continuity, coherence and attractiveness. Therefore, this research will formulate a cycling network development plan in Bandung City with a multicriteria analysis approach. This research was conducted using mixed methods based on literature, questionnaires and field observations to measure the suitability of roads for cycling in the city of Bandung. According to the findings of the study, roads in potential areas in Bandung City are moderately to highly suitable for the development of cycling networks. The resulting cycling network development plan includes 55 road sections with protected bicycle lanes and bicycle lanes on the road, respectively covering 43.95% and 56.05% of the entire road length.
