Summary:The era of Indonesian banking development is accelerating, and the banking industry is beginning to transform. As a result, people increasingly demand the emergence of technologybased credit products with flexible terms and low interest guarantees. This requires human resources to help employees develop and achieve company goals. However, especially the eight to twelve grade employees feel that the promotion of Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) KCP Bandung is not transparent enough, so it is necessary to analyse the performance appraisal design to understand what the current assessment format is. The objective of this research is to exploring current performance appraisal and propose to improve performance appraisal at Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) KCP Bandung using a qualitative descriptive case study approach. Informants are employees of Bank Tabungan Negara KCP Bandung from eighth grade to twelfth grade. The result of this research is designing performance appraisals to be more specific and measurable so that employees can see the progress of achieving their targets and clear indicators. In addition to implementing changes in order to successfully implement these changes in the organization so that employees can be more capable and competitive by using the ADKAR method.
