Summary:Museum is an education-based public facility that some people rarely visit. One of the museums in Indonesia is Batik Museum in Pekalongan City. This cultural museum exhibits the nation's cultural heritage, batik, which includes various collections of batik cloth from several regions in the country to overseas. Through this facility, people are invited to discover more about batik culture and also to increase awareness of the importance of preserving this culture. Unfortunately, most people are not very interested in visiting the Batik Museum because they have no urgency to visit. In addition, some people still think of museum as boring and monotonous place. This is reflected in the lack of public visits to Batik Museum, especially those who was motivated by self-will. Therefore, the planning for the revitalization of Batik Museum aims to maximize the potential of the Batik Museum according to its function so that the number of visits can increase and it can further raise awareness of the importance of preserving batik culture. The data collection method was carried out by field observation, literature study, and interviews. The design for the revitalization of the Batik Museum will use a concept with an interactive design pproach.
