Hence, this poetry collection picture book design is performed to assist children in sharpening their ideas and imagination along with improving their vocabulary. The book design is done based on literature study, data gathering, and analysis. This book is divided into five series and arranged based on themes that represents children's life. Moreover, it is designed using thematic principle so that it can be considered as a growing book. This book is also designed with reality simplification illustration and not visualizing the poems literally. The colors are bright with attractive combinations. Therefore, it is suitable for a day-to-day reading book for children. text |
