This study aims to find out consumers' preference for using saung tenaga surya and also to find out the variables that influence people's use of saung tenaga surya. This research used 100 samples with the criteria that they had never purchased a saung tenaga surya and the convenience sampling method was applied. The questionnaire used in this study consisted of 14 questions. Online media was used to distribute the questionnaires. Moreover, this study used Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) method to measure user acceptance. For data analysis this research is equipped with Structural Equatation Modeling (SEM) to interpret the path analysis of the research model using smartPLS. In smartPLS apps, the method for validity and reliability used evaluation measurement model and for hypothesis testing used evaluation structural model (bootstrapping). This study found that consumer perceptions most like type 3 of saung tenaga surya and preferred to bring smartphone while using saung tenaga surya. According to the analysis, all of variables have positive and significant effect for user acceptance variable it shows by the T-Statistic value higher than 1.984 and significant value below than 0.05. For the future research, it is recommended to conduct tests outside of the variables that have been studied in this research, for example the variables of product quality and safety. text
