| Summary: | In this modern era, information can be accesed easily, one of which information is
about fashion trends. Social media can accelerate the spread of fashion trends in the
world. This can give the urge to always follow the current fashion trends so they will
not be outdated. In the middle of the fast-fashion trend, the Grandmillenial style has
emerged to reawaken ancient aesthetic and vintage, combining old-school style with
contemporary minimalism. This style encourages the recycle of unused objects so they
can function again with a timeless look as a respond to rapidly changing trend.
Therefore, this research wants to process patchworks that can create an old-school
impression into loungewear product with visual inspiration from Grandmillennial
style. Data were collected from patchwork collection center that is obtained from
fashion industry. Surface textile technique that are used for Grandmillenial style
application in the loungewear products are patchwork technique, screenprinting, and
embroidery.
