Description
Summary:The provinces of DKI Jakarta and Greater Bandung are economic centers and have a large interaction between the movement of people, goods and services as seen from the movement of passengers from DKI Jakarta to Greater Bandung, which is 27,418,521 people/year (Ministry of Transportation, 2011). One of the transportation systems developed is a mass transportation system that can accommodate movement, namely the Jakarta Bandung High Speed Train (HST). The role of door-to-door accessibility should not be ignored when evaluating the factors that influence the choice of mode, in other words, the role of the feeder mode is very much needed, especially since the shift to the Jakarta-Bandung highspeed train has potential. This research is to see the opportunity of the LRT Leuwipanjang – St. Tegalluar and BRT Dipatiukur – St. Tegalluar – Jatinangor as a feeder mode and the existing modes are private cars, online taxi/taxi, and online motorcycle taxi. The chi square test shows that the availability of the feeder mode in the station/bus stop area affects the mode selection. This study uses multinomial logit analysis using biogeme software based on the factors that influence mode choice preferences, namely stated choice attributes, socio-economic and travel characteristics. The probability of choosing a mode in the model with a significance level of 25% is LRT (43%), BRT (19%), online taxi/taxi (3%), private car (17%), online motorcycle taxi (10%) and not voting ( 7%). Based on these results, it can be said that there are significant opportunities for the development of mass transportation, so that the planning of the LRT and BRT is potential as a feeder mode for the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed train.
