Description
Summary:The effectiveness of communication between non-disabilities and people with disabilities is a problem because of the lack of knowledge of sign language in nondisabled people and the limited number and duration of focus for Sign Language Interpreters. Therefore, we need a tool that is able to translate sign language into sounds in Indonesian. This paper contains the storage and power management subsystem which functions to store and regulate power settings to other subsystems which are implemented using Li Po batteries, charging modules, then power management to the system as a whole is regulated using a microcontroller board. This paper also discussed the interface display subsystem which functions to connect and display system output from an embedded system so that it can be accessed by users, in this case the output is in the form of sounds and visuals. The sound output implementation uses speakers connected to the data processing subsystem, the display output uses OLED which is connected to the data processing subsystem in I2C mode, and there is one input in the form of two push buttons for early notification and deleting the last letter read by gloves. All these components are installed on the right-hand gloves.
