Description
Summary:The flood that has not been completed in Dayeuhkolot District has made many residents experience adaptations. Districts with very large numbers of residents, lowlands, many factories and near rivers create a lot of risks in it. The government's handling that is considered slow and with many inconsistencies has made residents flock to look for instant solutions. The evacuation process, which is considered crucial and important for residents, has been sidelined. Utilizing several materials is a progressive step for residents to evacuate, thus giving residents a vehicle to move the land. For this reason, product design comes in the form of finding useful solutions and innovations. Using your own tools does not mean it is unsafe or uncomfortable. The product in a panic state must meet the criteria. Through this study the authors saw opportunities for innovation from the lack of appropriate government handling and the ability of Dayeuhkolot District residents. Products that can be developed are Connectable Buoy with Karang Taruna as facilitators for priority residents.
