Description
Summary:Indonesia has a very diverse cultural wealth. Its diversity starts from religion, ethnicity, dance, cultural heritage and many more. The culture from region to region is different despite the customs. Indonesia has more than 300 ethnic groups or ethnic groups, more precisely there are 1,340 ethnic groups in the country. Along with the times and the many influences from outside culture, the younger generation now tends to be apathetic and does not care about the preservation of culture that has been passed down from generation to generation. This is a problem that needs to be resolved in various ways and solutions that are relevant to the young generation at this time, so that this generation will again have an awareness of a cultural identity, especially the traditional panjalin house. One way to solve this problem, can be resolved by making the traditional panjalin house as inspiration in making works. The visual element contained in the traditional panjalin house is a visual potential that can be developed into a variety of decorations. This decoration can be taken from the ornaments or parts of the traditional panjalin house. This utilization is one way to build community awareness of the potential that can be extracted from the traditional house.
